Arreis Sivad Born and raised in Buffalo N.Y. Arreis Sivad is a brilliant songwriter that writes from the heart. Her original style has a way of telling a story that let you get into her personal life just enough to get her. Arreis’s journey started in the first grade when her mother received a call from the principal from the elementary school, excited about her singing ability. Her mother knew that it would be advantageous to get her in the choir, so she could interact with other singers, and her mother also experienced great joy when Arreis would sing popular songs from the television show BET (90’s)
As a teenager, Arreis would spend a great deal of time at her aunt’s house in the summer, while growing up. The environment was perfect, for playing music and to better facilitate her in developing her skills. Her aunt had a piano, an elaborate stereo system, and would always encourage her to pursue music. Playing music on the system often with headphones, singing loud and expressing herself freely was her escape. From there she stared recording music from the radio, on a double dual tape player, singing on the second track to hear what her voice sound like was a hobby; which helped her learn the format of writing music and singing songs.
Arreis officialy started her solo career when she met her friend’s father, Dement Ormond. Together they collaborated and created a 13 songs cd. This is where she learned the art of engineering and production, and it played a major role in her becoming a well rounded artist. Arreis went on to study music business at Villa Maria College in Buffalo, N.Y.
Arreis’s dream is to be heard, and if she can change a few hearts, that would be justice alone. She just wants to touch people that she never met and change the world through the love of music. Her goal is to connect to like minded individuals while pouring her heart out to anyone who might be in the need of love. Having fun and loving life is the goal. All in all she’s just a girl who wants to be happy.
